Controls are unresponsive and wonky. Tried this with two different USB gamepads and keyboard controls. The basic gist of this is to hop around like a madman and keep firing hoping your timing is good enough to score a hit. Or last long enough to gather plenty of powerups so it doesn't matter anymore. Either way Adventuring Gentleman is not holding my attention or interest to keep me playing it.. A very fun and quick game in which you shoot at waves of monsters. The visuals are very cool and the soundtrack fits the steampunk theme. Every time is random, so the replay value is very high.https:\/\/youtu.be\/ryLLEqmtJL8. I feel bad for the dev that they have to set the price this low. But with this price, it definitely worth it.It's a very simple platformer, with only move\/jump and shoot, with cute monty-python-cut-up style steampunk aesthetics that works well enough, though nothing very eyecatching. You fight waves of random enemies and a boss fight at the final wave, in a single screen every time, but with randomized platform where you can jump around. Every few wave you get choice of random upgrades, and if you beat the boss, you get new potential random upgrade for later runs.It feels cheap, movement is floaty, but actually fun enough. Most likely won't entertain you for too long, but it will entertain you (and a friend, since there's multiplayer) for a while. And once again, it's now priced as much as a single candy, so you can't complain that it's not worth it.. Actually, a surprisingly decent simple wave-platformer with unfairly cheap price.
